Our last check in was February. A lot can happen in six months…
If it’s felt a little quiet around here, that’s because life on the farm has been anything but.
The past six months have brought unexpected farm emergenices, long days, and more than a few challenges that demanded our full attention. There was one week that seemed to test everything at once—our little pug needed emergency surgery, our young quarter horse required an endoscopy, and a massive maple tree came crashing down and crushed the pool house. It was one of those stretches where you just keep moving forward, one step at a time, doing what needs to be done for the animals and the land you love.
But alongside the chaos, there have also been exciting milestones worth celebrating—including the honor of being added to the Hunterdon 579 trail as an official destination. It’s a privilege to welcome even more visitors to our little corner of the countryside!
Through every busy day, the ovens have stayed warm, the bread has continued to rise, and this place has remained what it’s always been: a farm built on hard work, good bread, and community. The love of keeping the farm stand stocked and baking for our community is truly an honor and a joy—one that grounds us through every season.
One thing I’ve been especially excited to start thinking about is how we can connect with our community in new ways beyond the farm stand. I’d love to explore hosting a live Q&A session so I can answer your questions in real time, share more of the day-to-day life here, and just have a more personal conversation with you all.
I’m also hoping to carve our time to teach some of our favorite recipes—simple, seasonal things from our kitchen that you can bring to your own home.

Visit our old fashioned self-serve farm stand in Frenchtown on weekends for freshly baked bread direct from our farm house kitchen. We’re a little old school when it comes to bread.

Weekend bread drops are always announced with a live video on our Facebook Page. We shoot for a noon-at-the-latest bread delivery—but it’s often earlier.
